Don\u2019t call Kim Kardashian a lawyer yet \u2014 unless you\u2019re referring to her character in All\u2019s Fair.<\/p>\n
Kardashian took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday to share that she didn\u2019t pass the bar exam, which she took over the summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell\u2026I\u2019m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV,\u201d she wrote. \u201cSix years into this law journey, and I\u2019m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up \u2014 just more studying and even more determination.\u201d<\/p>\n
She then thanked everyone who has supported her in this effort before adding, \u201cFalling isn\u2019t short of failure \u2014 it\u2019s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more.\u201d The result comes after Kardashian previously failed the California bar exam three times. However, she passed the \u201cbaby bar\u201d exam in 2021.<\/p>\n
The reality star has been studying through an apprenticeship program in California and was inspired to pursue a career in the legal field, focusing on criminal justice reform.<\/p>\n
In 2022, Kardashian told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> what she hopes to accomplish in her future legal career. \u201cI want to finish law school and then my ultimate goal is to open up a firm that hires formerly incarcerated people,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n The beauty mogul, who entered the spotlight from her hit show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which centered around her and her family members. But since 2018, the Skims founder has been multitasking across all her ventures to pursue her legal studies. Law also runs in the family, as Kardashian\u2019s late father, Robert, was an attorney and famously a member of the late O.J. Simpson\u2019s defense team.<\/p>\n So, it\u2019s only fitting that Kardashian would collide worlds as she\u2019s currently starring in Ryan Murphy\u2019s show All\u2019s Fair, playing a lawyer. However, despite it\u2019s A-list cast including Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Teyana Taylor<\/a>, Sarah Paulson and Niecy Nash, it has received harsh reviews<\/a>, with THR<\/a>\u2018s TV critic<\/a>, Angie Han, calling the show \u201cstiff and affectless.\u201d<\/p>\n Nonetheless, the series has been a hit with viewers, as it\u2019s currently the No. 1 show on Hulu.
