The Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a> (9-4-3) will complete the second of their weekend back-to-backs on Sunday when they host the LA Kings (6-5-4) at PPG Paints Arena. <\/p>\n

The puck drops just after 2 p.m. <\/p>\n

The game will be the NHL debut for goalie prospect Sergei Murashov<\/a>, who has dominated AHL competition at just 21 years old. Murashov was the Penguins\u2019 fourth-round pick in 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we saw in games and practice, he\u2019s extremely competitive. He\u2019s always in the battle there, for loose pucks,\u201d Muse said. \u201cOff the ice, he\u2019s very diligent for his training, his preparation.\u201d<\/p>\n

This season, as the primary goalie for the Wilkes-Barre\/Scranton Penguins<\/a>, Murashov earned AHL goalie of the month honors for October, while posting a 5-2-0 record with a .931 save percentage. <\/p>\n

The debut is just the latest in eagerly awaited prospects arriving in Pittsburgh, though Murashov\u2019s stay is likely temporary as goalie Tristan Jarry is out for three weeks with a lower-body injury. <\/p>\n

Saturday, the Penguins carried the play against the New Jersey Devils but received only one power play and again performed poorly in a shootout. The Penguins lost to New Jersey 2-1 via shootout. <\/p>\n

Ryan Graves<\/a> had the Penguins\u2019 only goal. Graves and defense partner Connor Clifton were quite good Saturday. As was fellow rookie Ben Kindel<\/a>, who played his second game on the top line with Sidney Crosby.<\/p>\n

LA has been struggling. They are 2-2-1 in their last five games, but have scored an anemic 42 goals this season, which is third-worst in the Western Conference. <\/p>\n
