Department of Transportation has scheduled the following temporary closures on Route 40 in both directions Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Temporary right lane closures: Franklin Boulevard in Pleasantville to the West End Avenue intersection in Atlantic City from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.\u00a0Temporary shoulder lane closures: Franklin Boulevard in Pleasantville to the West End Avenue intersection in Atlantic City from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.Temporary right lane closures: Jug handle A to Tilton Road intersection in Egg Harbor Township from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Lane closures are expected on the Route 30 drawbridge over Absecon Inlet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Nov. 21, for scheduled preventative maintenance work by the N.J. Department of Transportation. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists are advised to reduce speed, exercise caution and anticipate potential delays in the work area. The schedule may be adjusted based on weather conditions or other unexpected events.<\/p>\n<p>A single lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in effect Tuesday on Ohio Avenue in Absecon between Station Avenue and Shore Road from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Nov. 14, weather permitting.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists should follow the posted work zone signs and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
