{"id":283386,"date":"2025-11-10T14:48:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T14:48:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/283386\/"},"modified":"2025-11-10T14:48:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T14:48:11","slug":"cmmc-in-lewiston-expected-to-end-trauma-center-status","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/283386\/","title":{"rendered":"CMMC in Lewiston expected to end trauma center status"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LEWISTON, Maine (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bangordailynews.com\/2025\/11\/09\/state\/state-health\/cmmc-to-end-trauma-center-status-dec-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">BDN<\/a>) &#8212; Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston will end its status as a trauma center on Dec. 1, according to Maine Emergency Medical Services.<\/p>\n<p>Maine EMS said in a bulletin issued Nov. 5 that it was notified the hospital will not seek re-verification as a trauma center.
