{"id":283406,"date":"2025-11-10T15:02:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T15:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/283406\/"},"modified":"2025-11-10T15:02:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T15:02:11","slug":"legal-ai-firm-clio-valued-at-5-billion-in-latest-funding-round","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/283406\/","title":{"rendered":"Legal AI firm Clio valued at $5 billion in latest funding round"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">(Reuters) -Legal <a href=\"https:\/\/tech.yahoo.com\/ai\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:artificial intelligence;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">artificial intelligence<\/a> company Clio said on Monday it has raised \u200b$500 million in a funding round led by \u200cNew Enterprise Associates (NEA), valuing the company at \u200c$5 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">The funding comes as demand for AI tools that automate professional and office work grows, with firms looking to streamline routine tasks, reduce costs, and \u2060improve decision-making.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">Venture \u200ccapital firms are pouring significant investments into companies developing such AI technology.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">The latest round also \u200dincluded participation from existing investors TCV, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Sixth Street Growth and JMI Equity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">Clio, founded \u200bby Jack Newton and Rian Gauvreau in 2008, \u200cstreamlines legal work for firms of all sizes and is used to manage cases, research, and workflows.
