{"id":28386,"date":"2025-07-22T10:15:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-22T10:15:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/28386\/"},"modified":"2025-07-22T10:15:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T10:15:10","slug":"seattle-seahawks-announce-signing-of-big-free-agent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/28386\/","title":{"rendered":"Seattle Seahawks announce signing of big free agent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"UQopcH\">It has been barely a day since the the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fieldgulls.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Seattle Seahawks<\/a> created an open roster spot with the release of tight end Noah Fant, and on Monday afternoon the team has announced that it had created a second open roster spot. <\/p>\n<p id=\"ZreOXh\">The second spot comes via the waiving of cornerback Zy Alexander, and in the same press release the team noted how it had filled the open roster spots. <\/p>\n<p id=\"apkTU7\">As Field Gulls reported just minutes ago, the Seahawks <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fieldgulls.com\/2025\/7\/21\/24471718\/report-seahawks-fill-open-roster-spot-with-rookie-minicamp-participant-kam-alexander\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">added defensive back Kam Alexander<\/a> of Oregon by way of UTSA and Sam Houston State to fill one spot, and filled the second spot with 6\u20193\u201d, 338 pound nose tackle Justin Rogers. <\/p>\n<p id=\"FSDewu\">Justin Rogers was a seventh round selection of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloggingtheboys.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dallas Cowboys<\/a> in the 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbnation.com\/nfl-draft\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NFL Draft<\/a>, but was waived at final roster cuts.
