The AP poll remains active but not in the sense of determining who makes it into the 12-team field. And while the same can be said about the BCS, those are still being released by he X account ‘BCS Know How.’

Monday brought the latest top 25 from college football’s old method of determining the national champion. If nothing else, it’s a sneak peak at what the committee puts out in just over 24 hours from now.

There is some change throughout due to Week 11 results. Let’s check out the full thing below, beginning in Columbus, OH.

Ohio State remains the status quo in college football this season. Nobody has really tested Ryan Day‘s bunch since the opener, cruising through two other nonconference games and the Big Ten schedule to this point.

All eyes in Columbus are on Nov. 29, though. Ohio State is looking to finally break its losing streak to Michigan, hoping to get a big monkey off its back.

© Troy Wayrynen-Imagn Images

If not for the heroics of Fernando Mendoza and Omar Cooper, Indiana would find itself a lot lower in these rankings. But everyone in Bloomington are grateful for those two, producing an all-time play for IU.

A foot or two might already be in the College Football Playoff door for Indiana. Two regular season games are left before likely heading to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship game.

Rounding out the top three teams, all of which are undefeated, is Texas A&M. Mike Elko found himself in a similar situation as Curt Cignetti, going into a hostile environment against a conference foe.

Dramatics were not needed in this one, though. Texas A&M took care of business vs. Missouri and continued what could wind up being the best-ever season in College Station.

There’s a significant drop-off in BCS score between Alabama and Texas A&M. Meaning, while Alabama might be No. 4, there is a sizable gap to close if they want to move up.

An opportunity to do so presents itself on Saturday, bringing the Oklahoma Sooners to Tuscaloosa. A win might put Alabama in a nice position to be included on Selection Sunday.

(Conor Dillon/UGAAA)

Plenty of people put Georgia on upset watch Saturday afternoon. Starkville can be a difficult place to play, and recently, Mississippi State has looked like a competitive team inside the SEC.

Instead, Georgia went in there and made sure there was no doubt about the final result. A great victory for Kirby Smart’s bunch before a tough closing stretch to the regular season.

How many times have we seen Big Ten teams competing for something more go into Kinnick Stadium and lose? Oregon thankfully avoided a result plenty of others in the conference have faced throughout the years with a walk-off field goal.

The Ducks move up a spot and inch closer toward the top five. Oregon welcomes Minnesota to town on Friday before going back to its Pac-12 roots with showdowns vs. USC and Washington.

SEC FCS Saturday came a couple of weeks early in Oxford. Ole Miss brought The Citadel to town, where the biggest storylines from the game had nothing to do with on-field moments. Mainly, Lane Kiffin found himself in the middle of an engagement.

A one-spot drop did come as a result, previously being No. 6. Only two more games remain on the schedule for the Rebels and you can expect them to be heavily favored in both.

Result of the weekend likely goes to Texas Tech, getting a massive win over BYU. A lot of attention was placed on the program as well, with ESPN College GameDay in town, only to get the 11 a.m. ABC broadcast.

From a BCS standpoint, the Red Raiders stay as the highest-ranked Big 12 team. You can expect the same on Tuesday night from the College Football Playoff committee.

Notre Dame found itself as a topic of discussion following the initial CFP rankings. The BCS has remained consistent in them, having the Irish inside the top 15 since Oct. 13 and into the top 10 last week.

Due to a loss in front of them, Notre Dame is now at No. 9. A great position to be in with three weeks remaining and no conference championship game on deck.

Texas watched the rest of the college football world this past week. A bye week before closing out the year with three straight SEC games, all determining if the Longhorns get into the 12-team field.

First up will be a trip to Athens, something the program has never done. Hopefully, another good one between the two powers takes place between the hedges.

BCS rankings after Week 11: Nos. 11-25

11. BYU Cougars
12. Oklahoma Sooners
13. Vanderbilt Commodores
14. Utah Utes
15. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
16. USC Trojans
17. Miami Hurricanes
18. Michigan Wolverines
19. Tennessee Volunteers
20. Virginia Cavaliers
21. Louisville Cardinals
22. Cincinnati Bearcats
23. Missouri Tigers
24. Pitt Panthers
25. James Madison Dukes

How we rank teams changed on Tuesday, with the College Football Playoff rankings being released.
