While there’s no end in sight for the ongoing contract dispute between YouTube TV and Disney, the digital live-TV provider is offering subscribers a $20 credit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In an email sent to subscribers on Nov. 9, the company said it has been working in good faith to negotiate a deal with Disney to eventually return its programming.<\/p>\n

“We know it\u2019s been disappointing to lose Disney content, and we want you to know we deeply appreciate your patience. In light of the disruption, we\u2019re offering our subscribers a $20 credit,” YouTube TV said in the email.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The contract stalemate is a blow to sports fans. Weekly programming like Monday Night Football won’t be available to stream.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Disney-owned networks \u2014 including ESPN and ABC \u2014 were removed from YouTube TV on Oct. 30 after the two companies failed to agree on a new contract.<\/p>\n

In a Nov. 7 memo to employees, Disney <\/a>executives said the company had made concessions during negotiations, offering YouTube TV a deal \u201cthat would cost less overall than the terms of our recently expired license.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, YouTube TV, <\/a>owned by Google, claimed Disney sought \u201ccostly economic terms that would raise prices for YouTube TV customers and reduce their viewing choices.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you’re the primary holder of a YouTube TV account, you should receive an email in the following days detailing how to access the credit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After you\u2019ve claimed it, a confirmation message will appear indicating that the credit will be applied to your next bill.<\/p>\n
