Electronicore group The Browning have plans to release a reimagined version of their 2011 debut album \u201cBurn This World\u201d on February 11th (digital) and February 27th (vinyl). A press release notes that the band have completely reworked that effort from the ground up for this new version, which has been dubbed \u201cBurn This World [EVOLVED]\u201c. Frontman and mastermind Jonny McBee commented:<\/p>\n
\u201c15 years of Evolution has led me to fully recreating \u2018Burn This World\u2018 from scratch. The first [EVOLVED] song, \u2018Not Alone\u2018, is out now and is a perfect representation of what this album is. Heavier breakdowns, higher energy techno, better vocals. VINYLS, CDs, and Shirts are up for pre order! It\u2019s been a long 15 years for me, and I appreciate your support every step of the way. This is for you\u201d<\/p>\n
As mentioned by McBee, an updated version of \u201cNot Alone\u201d is now streaming, with a press release stating that it, \u2018explores alienation, uncertainty, and the idea of collective existential struggle through a brutal soundscape. Sonic chaos fueled by thrashing guitars, hardcore electronic beats, and screaming vocals the single stretches from it\u2019s original 3:31 running time to 4:12 embodying a fully remade and socially explosive transformation that maintains the defiant spirit of the original.\u2019<\/p>\n
The Browning also have an abundance of touring ahead of them, having just wrapped a fall tour with Born Of Osiris and more. Newly revealed among those plans is a U.S. headlining run celebrating this upcoming revised album, which will see Within Destruction, Face Yourself and Dead Eyes opening.<\/p>\n
