Carla Connor thinks Becky Swain is behind fresh accusations levelled at her, while Todd Grimshaw’s manipulation at the hands of his partner, Theo Silverton, continues in Coronation Street<\/a> next week.<\/p>\n

But starting elsewhere in Weatherfield, Tim Metcalfe orders his wife, Sally, to drop her insinuations about his Trisha before the Michaelis kids pick up on the friction.<\/p>\n

But when they go for lunch and see Trisha sitting at a table with a teenage lad, Sally’s unable to contain herself. But when the lad confirms he’s Tricia’s nephew, will Sally apologise?<\/p>\n

However, it seems Sally’s comments are starting to get to Tim, as when Brody asks him about Trisha, the cab driver snaps at him, leaving Brody hurt.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, when Alfie Franklin’s nursery phones to say he\u2019s poorly, Roy Cropper suggests Abi Webster asks new partner, Carl Webster, to collect him, rather than cancel her counselling session.<\/p>\n

After agreeing, Carl’s not pleased as Alfie refuses to engage with him. So when they spot Kevin Webster, Alfie’s thrilled so Carl seizes the opportunity to offload him.<\/p>\n

Later, Abi puts Carl on the spot and questions if he\u2019s happy with their new life, and Carl reassures Abi that he\u2019s fully committed. Having dropped Alfie at nursery, Abi returns home to find Carl\u2019s filled the flat with candles to create a romantic ambience. As she nips to the loo, Carl cancels a call on her mobile, determined not to be disturbed.<\/p>\n

When a glum Abi admits Jack snubbed her on the street, Carl gives her a hug. In the Rovers, Tracy Barlow winds Abi up by suggesting that Kevin was the only decent parent Alfie had.<\/p>\n

Seeing red, Abi loses her temper and punches Tracy. As Tracy staggers back, Abi\u2019s horrified to realise Kevin saw the whole thing.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Carla tells Lisa Swain how she\u2019s planned a day of treats to celebrate the anniversary of their first kiss. But when a police officer tells Carla she needs to come to the station as someone has made a complaint of fraudulent activity in her factory, Carla\u2019s furious.<\/p>\n

She’s quick to tell Lisa that Becky’s clearly behind it. Later, with the allegation unfounded, DC Kit Green confirms she’s free to go and the Underworld factory boss leaves on the warpath.<\/p>\n

Also, Nina Lucas tackles Roy Cropper about his new fixation on the post and asks outright what his big secret is. Later, Ed Bailey installs a library box in the cafe for Roy on the advice of his new mystery friend as he continues his secret letter writing. But who is his new pen pal?<\/p>\n

And, Theo finds Todd still comatose on the sofa. Spotting the clean laundry, Theo picks out all the white shirts, puts them in the washing machine and goes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, George Shuttleworth panics when Todd is late for work and uncontactable. Christina Boyd steps in and helps him prepare before calling at the flat, where Todd\u2019s horrified to realise his alarm didn\u2019t go off, he\u2019s late and all his shirts are mid-cycle.<\/p>\n

Furious, George tells Todd he\u2019s no longer required as Christina\u2019s stepping into the breach. As Todd’s left outraged as they set off without him, Theo tells his partner he shouldn\u2019t take it lying down.<\/p>\n

Todd\u2019s taken aback by Theo\u2019s support, unaware he\u2019s being manipulated. Later, George and Christina return, having successfully pulled off the funeral and when George continues to harangue Todd for letting him down, Todd loses his temper.<\/p>\n

Over with the Platts, Kit moves his belongings into Sarah’s flat. Keen to celebrate this big step in their relationship, they head for the bedroom.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, when David suggests it\u2019s time to explain their baby\u2019s issues to those closest to them, Shona\u2019s reluctant. Later, in the bistro, Nick, Toyah Battersby and Bethany Platt are stunned when David blurts out that the baby is really poorly and may not even survive.
