Julian Cash<\/a> and Lloyd Glasspool<\/a> clinched Year-End ATP Doubles No. 1 presented by PIF honours Sunday evening with their opening win at the Nitto ATP Finals<\/a>, becoming the first all-British team to achieve the feat.<\/p>\n Cash and Glasspool first competed together last September and in their first full season as a team, in 2025, they have won seven titles, leading the ATP Tour.<\/p>\n \u201cIt’s been one crazy year, that’s for sure. We put an awful lot of work in in the offseason. Couldn’t have done it without everyone there in the box, also my family up there in the corner,\u201d Cash said during the trophy ceremony. \u201cIt takes a lot of people to get to this spot. We’ve ticked off so many things this year and I think we both truly believed at the start of the year that this was possible for us and to be stood here now is very surreal.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe wouldn\u2019t be here without our box and our team. They’ve supported us for many, many years,\u201d Glasspool said. \u201cIt’s been an incredible year, credit to ourselves as well. I think we’ve worked very hard. We’ve pushed each other massively. <\/p>\n \u201cThank you to Julian as well. We’ve put in a massive shift this year along with our team and it wouldn’t be possible without both of us, really, working really hard.\u201d<\/p>\n The former college tennis standouts in the United States \u2014 Cash at Oklahoma State University and Glasspool at the University of Texas \u2014 are the first year-end No. 1 doubles team to have both players\u00a0come from the American college system since Bob Bryan<\/a> and Mike Bryan<\/a> (Stanford University) in 2014.<\/p>\n Cash and Glasspool began their 2025 campaign by lifting the trophy in Brisbane and surged from there.\u00a0<\/p>\n Their best stretch of the season began during the grass-court swing, which they began by making the final in \u2018s-Hertogenbosch. From there, the Britons won consecutive titles at Queen\u2019s Club, Eastbourne, Wimbledon<\/a> and Toronto.
