All these years later, and everybody still loves Raymond.<\/p>\n
The cast of \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond\u201d recently reunited for the beloved sitcom\u2019s 30th anniversary, and CBS has shared some all-new photos of the cast in anticipation of the milestone event.<\/p>\n
Featuring Ray Romano alongside co-stars\u00a0Brad Garrett,\u00a0Patricia Heaton,\u00a0Monica Horan,\u00a0Madylin Sweeten, Sullivan Sweeten and series creator\u00a0Phil Rosenthal, the pictures make clear just how much time has passed since the show\u2019s premiere way back in 1996.<\/p>\n

Those missing from the all-new reunion photos include Doris Roberts,\u00a0Peter Boyle and\u00a0Sawyer Sweeten, who have all sadly passed away in the years following the sitcom\u2019s 2005 finale.<\/p>\n
CBS first announced that the cast was heading back to Long Island<\/a> for the \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion\u201d special last month.<\/p>\n Set to air on Monday, Nov. 24, the event will be hosted by Romano and Rosenthal with appearances by Garrett, Heaton, Horan, and the Sweeten siblings. <\/p>\n Romano during the upcoming \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion\u201d special. Sonja Flemming\/CBS<\/p>\n In the hit series, Garrett portrayed Ray\u2019s brother Robert Barone; Heaton played Ray\u2019s wife Debra; Horan played Robert\u2019s wife Amy; Madylin portrayed Ray and Debra\u2019s daughter Ally; and Sullivan portrayed Ray and Debra\u2019s son Michael.<\/p>\n \u201cTwenty years since the show\u2019s finale episode, audiences are invited back to the recreated Barone living room for an unforgettable evening with America\u2019s favorite family,\u201d the network announced on Oct. 1.<\/a><\/p>\n CBS promised \u201ccandid conversations\u201d with the former stars as well, plus never-before-seen outtakes and commentary from the show.<\/p>\n Garrett and Romano in the Barone family\u2019s living room for the upcoming \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion\u201d special. Boyle passed away in 2006<\/a> at the age of 71, while Roberts died in 2016<\/a>\u00a0at 90. <\/p>\n Sawyer Sweeten, who played Ray and Debra\u2019s son Geoffrey, tragically died by suicide<\/a> in April 2015. CBS via Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond\u201d premiered on Sept. 13, 1996, and ran for nine seasons until its finale in May 2005. <\/p>\n The show earned 69 Emmy nominations and won 15, including awards for Romano, Heaton, Roberts, and Garrett. It also won for Outstanding Comedy Series twice, first in 2003 and then again in 2005.<\/p>\n While some fans still hope to see a potential reboot or sequel to the original \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond\u201d series, Romano put that possibility to bed while celebrating 30 years of the sitcom at the Paley Museum in New York City back in June.<\/p>\n \u201cNo, there won\u2019t be a reboot,\u201d Romano, 67, exclusively told The Post<\/a> during the event. <\/p>\n \u201cThe obvious is Peter and Doris and one of the kids \u2013 they\u2019re no longer with us,\u201d the comedian explained. \u201cWe\u2019re all heartbroken. They\u2019re a big part of the show, the dynamic. Without them, I don\u2019t know what the dynamic is. We love the show too much, we respect it too much to even try to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n Garrett, meanwhile, said something similar when asked about a possible reboot during the premiere of Disney Pixar\u2019s \u201cElio\u201d in Los Angeles over the summer.<\/p>\n
