Actor Joey Lawrence and his wife Samantha Cope revealed they are expecting their second child together, marking a new chapter after reconciling from a brief separation last year.<\/p>\n
The couple shared the news on the red carpet before the Nov. 11 episode of \u201cDancing With the Stars.\u201d While discussing their coordinated outfits with “Entertainment Tonight<\/a>,” Lawrence gestured to Cope\u2019s abdomen and remarked, \u201cNothing is planned, not even this.\u201d<\/p>\n The baby will be a boy, making him Lawrence\u2019s first son. The actor has two daughters from his previous marriage to Chandie Yawn-Nelson and shares a daughter with Cope, Parade<\/a> noted.<\/p>\n The pregnancy announcement comes nearly a year after the couple reunited.<\/p>\n Cope filed for divorce in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences, but the pair had reconciled by December 2024, Page Six said.<\/p>\n The divorce filing followed rumors linking Lawrence to an alleged affair with Melina Alves, his co-star in \u201cSocked in for Christmas,\u201d according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n Parade added that Lawrence addressed the speculation in a since-deleted Instagram post, stating:<\/p>\n \u201cMelina and I became close friends and I did not have a physical relationship with her while filming the movie \u2018Socked in for Christmas.\u2019 These rumors are false.
