The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will host a public meeting at 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, at the Sheridan Regional Office regarding black bear hunting.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to Game and Fish Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt, black bear hunting seasons are typically set for three years, using harvest data and other biological information to guide those decisions.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, large carnivore biologists and local wildlife managers will present proposed black bear season dates, annual female mortality limits, and other possible adjustments to hunting season structures.\u00a0<\/p>\n
