{"id":289532,"date":"2025-11-13T17:52:13","date_gmt":"2025-11-13T17:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/289532\/"},"modified":"2025-11-13T17:52:13","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T17:52:13","slug":"pixel-ai-notification-summaries-start-rolling-out-how-to-enable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/289532\/","title":{"rendered":"Pixel AI Notification Summaries start rolling out: How to enable"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t<img width=\"1600\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Pixel-9-Pro-and-Pixel-10-Pro-devices.jpg\" class=\"skip-lazy wp-post-image\" alt=\"\"  decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Following the <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2025\/11\/11\/november-2025-pixel-feature-drop\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pixel Feature Drop on Tuesday<\/a>, we\u2019re now beginning to see Notification Summaries go live.<\/p>\n<p>If rolled out to your phone, go to the Settings app &gt; Notifications for \u201cNotification summaries\u201d at the top of the list after Notification history.<\/p>\n<p>Google explains how this feature will let you \u201cSummarize long messages and group conversations.\u201d It leverages \u201cAI on your device\u201d (Gemini Nano), with messages \u201cnever sent to Google.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After enabling Notification Summaries (it\u2019s off by default), you will get a \u201cDon\u2019t include these apps\u201d list. All your chat apps are opted-in and you can quickly disable. This list lets you sort applications by Most recent, Most frequent, and All apps.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/p>\n<p>On our device, first-party apps include Google Chat, Google Meet, Google Messages, Google Voice, Gmail (presumably the Chat tab), and curiously Phone by Google.<\/p>\n<p>At launch, English is supported. Google will not summarize short notifications, text with multiple languages, or only emoji.\u00a0You also won\u2019t see summaries if you\u2019re actively using your phone\u201d as the \u201cscreen must be off for a moment.\u201d Additionally, generation is disabled if Battery Saver mode is enabled.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Summaries feature a sparkle icon and are italicized. You can expand the notification to see the original thread.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Make sure you\u2019re on the <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.as\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">latest version<\/a> of Android System Intelligence (B.17).<\/p>\n<p>Notification Summaries are available on the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
