Her form looks so much better today than even just two months ago.<\/p>\n<p>She has worked closely with one of the best trainers in basketball since the end of last season.<\/p>\n<p>Although Reese is already one of the best players in the <a href=\"https:\/\/brobible.com\/tag\/wnba\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">WNBA<\/a> in terms of numbers, the tape tells a very different story than the stats. The 23-year-old may finally be considered a legitimate scorer if she can stay as consistent during games as she is against air.<\/p>\n<p>Angel Reese is a rebounding mebounding machine.<\/p>\n<p>Drafted with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky, no player in women\u2019s basketball history has recorded more double-doubles during her fist two seasons a pro than Reese.<\/p>\n<p>There is no way to deny her greatness on the board. She is a dominant post player who averaged 14.1 points and 12.9 rebounds per game in 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n<p>However, the 6-foot-3 forward shot less than 40% from the field as a rookie, 45% as a sophomore and less than 30% from three in both years. All of <a href=\"https:\/\/brobible.com\/sports\/article\/angel-reese-wnba-record-500-rebounds-500-points-off-miss-stat-padding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">her accomplishments are overshadowed<\/a> by her poor shooting. The term \u201cmebound\u201d came to exist because Reese would often secure two or three different rebounds on the same possession from her own missed shots.<\/p>\n<p>Her layups are one thing. Her mid-range game is another. The latter is practically nonexistent. Or, was.<\/p>\n<p>New form might help her shooting!<\/p>\n<p>Angel Reese has worked closely with Iren Rainey since the end of the season. Rainey is considered one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/orlandovoyager.com\/interview\/inspiring-conversations-with-iren-rainey-of-iren-rainey-basketball\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">best basketball trainers<\/a> in the business, most notably helping Aaron Gordon to reach his full potential.<\/p>\n<p>Their most recent session revealed a major breakthrough.
