Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has drawn at least some interest from the Tennessee Titans for the team’s current head coaching vacancy, according to Bruce Feldman and Ralph D. Russo<\/a> of The Athletic. <\/p>\n

“One industry source said there was at least a modicum of interest in Kiffin among decision-makers with the Tennessee Titans,” Feldman and Russo reported Friday. <\/p>\n

The Titans are looking for a new full-time coach after firing<\/a> Brian Callahan following a 1-5 start to the 2025 season on Oct. 13.<\/p>\n

As for Kiffin, he’s\u00a0reportedly<\/a>\u00a0the top candidate for Florida’s opening at head coach as well. LSU and Penn State are also looking for new coaches to patrol the sidelines moving forward.<\/p>\n

The Rebels are focused on keeping him in place, though.<\/p>\n

Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter\u00a0previously revealed<\/a>\u00a0that he’s being “proactive” regarding a new contract for Kiffin.<\/p>\n

His $9 million salary for the 2025 season ranks No. 10 in the among all college coaches, according to\u00a0USA Today’s\u00a02025\u00a0salary rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Feldman and Russo also reported Friday that “lines of communication are good between Kiffin and the administration” and the contract situation “seems to be trending in a positive direction for Rebels fans who would like to keep their coach.”<\/p>\n

The 50-year-old is in the midst of his sixth year at Ole Miss, owning an overall record of 53-19 with the school. The Rebels have won at least 10 games in each of the past two years and have started off 9-1 this season, sitting at No. 7 in the latest College Football Playoff\u00a0rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n
