In a Reddit<\/a> post, she writes that, after “months of tests and doctor visits,” her son was placed on a strict diet of no dairy, no refined sugar and low-sodium foods.<\/p>\n “Now here\u2019s the thing. My MIL has always thought I\u2019m ‘too controlling’ when it comes to food,” she writes. “She thinks I\u2019m just being dramatic, like I\u2019m depriving her grandson or something. I brushed off the comments at first.”<\/p>\n But recently, when she left her son with the woman, she came back to find him with “chocolate cake smeared on his face.”<\/p>\n From the post: “I froze. I asked him where he got it and he said ‘Grandma gave it to me.’ I. Lost. It. I asked her why she\u2019d do that when she knows he\u2019s not allowed. And she literally rolled her eyes and said, ‘It\u2019s just one slice. He\u2019s a kid. Let him live a little.’ Then she added, ‘You\u2019re not his doctor, stop acting like one.’ I said, ‘I don\u2019t have to be his doctor to follow basic health advice.
