\n\tLala Kent<\/a> and Tom Schwartz<\/a> have officially made the move to The Valley<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Vanderpump Rules<\/a> alumni will join the official cast for season three of the spinoff, the network revealed at BravoCon<\/a> on Friday. The news was announced at the \u201cPeaks & The Valley\u201d panel, where the trailer<\/a> and cast list for The Valley: Persian Style<\/a> were also revealed.<\/p>\n

\n\tKent and Schwartz each made cameo appearances on The Valley\u2018s second season and will join the show\u2019s junior season after mainstay cast member Jax Taylor exited the series<\/a> to focus on his \u201csobriety, my mental health and coparenting relationship,\u201d he said in a statement at the time.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe casting news has been long anticipated, as both former Vanderpump stars have been seen filming with the cast of The Valley over the past few months.<\/p>\n

\n\tAhead of the end of season two, The Hollywood Reporter spoke with executive producer Alex Baskin<\/a> about the future of the series, where he addressed fan backlash surrounding Kent, Schwartz and Scheana Shay\u2019s potential addition to The Valley. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think part of what is fun about these series\u2019 is that there\u2019s something for everyone, and I think there\u2019s a lot of different points of view, and I think obviously those three are very much a part of this group, just naturally, and they\u2019re very comfortable living their lives in front of the cameras,\u201d he said of the three possibly joining The Valley. \u201cThey\u2019re used to it, they\u2019ve been doing it for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTheir inclusion to The Valley comes after Bravo<\/a> revealed their plan to reboot Vanderpump Rules<\/a> with a brand-new cast. Schwartz appeared on the Lisa Vanderpump-led series during all original 11 seasons, notably as Katie Maloney\u2019s husband and subsequent ex-husband. Kent was introduced to the series during season four and became a full-time cast member in season six.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 11 of Vanderpump Rules ended on a broken note, with most of the cast divided amid Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval\u2019s destructive split<\/a> that arose after Sandoval had an affair with their friend and fellow former co-star Rachel Leviss. After a rough season 11 reunion, Baskin told THR<\/a> the series was not ending and said that it\u2019s \u201cdefinitely possible\u201d the original cast could return in some capacity. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Valley additionally stars Vanderpump alumni Kristen Doute and Brittany Cartwright, alongside\u00a0Luke Broderick; Danny\u00a0and\u00a0Nia Booko; Jesse\u00a0Lally,\u00a0Michelle Saniei;\u00a0Jason\u00a0and\u00a0Janet Caperna; Jasmine Goode;\u00a0and\u00a0Zack Wickham.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAhead of the season two premiere of The Valley, the cast told THR<\/a> which Vanderpump stars should join their cast for future installments. Janet and Saniei threw out Kent and Shay\u2019s names, while Goode suggested the latter woman, while noting, \u201cI don\u2019t think we need anyone from\u00a0Vanderpump Rules\u00a0to come over; we are a huge cast and you\u2019ll see this season, we don\u2019t need any more going on.<\/p>\n

\n\tVanderpump Rules season 12<\/a> will arrive on Bravo on Dec. 2, with Baskin further teasing that the cast \u201care very different\u201d from the originals, \u201cbut [the show] still has all of the really fun, juicy ingredients.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI really would encourage everyone to stick with us and give us a chance, because I think they\u2019re going to be won over,\u201d Baskin said of the refreshed cast. \u201cI think they\u2019re going to see that the show naturally came together, because, again, we didn\u2019t force together a group that didn\u2019t exist, and it\u2019s a lot of fun, and it really captures the life stage that we saw in the early days of\u00a0Vanderpump Rules\u00a0and as opposed to the later life stage [in the later seasons].
