{"id":292442,"date":"2025-11-15T03:44:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T03:44:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/292442\/"},"modified":"2025-11-15T03:44:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-15T03:44:09","slug":"andy-cohen-addresses-rhony-hybrid-season-rumors-at-bravocon-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/292442\/","title":{"rendered":"Andy Cohen addresses &#8216;RHONY&#8217; hybrid season rumors at BravoCon 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Andy Cohen denied rumors that \u201cThe Real Housewives of New York City\u201d will have a hybrid cast for Season 16.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot true,\u201d Cohen told moderator Jeff Lewis during an \u201cAsk Andy\u201d BravoCon panel in Las Vegas on Friday, when asked about the rumors. <\/p>\n<p>He did, however, hint that answers are coming for the beloved series. \u201cNew York to come,\u201d he told audience members. \u201cWe\u2019re close.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/andy-cohen-sets-the-record-straight-on-1-casting-rumor-surrounding-rhony\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told Us Weekly<\/a> on the red carpet to \u201cstand by\u201d for additional details on the Bravo series. <\/p>\n<p>Andy Cohen denied rumors that \u201cRHONY\u201d will have a hybrid cast for Season 16 during a BravoCon panel. Trae Patton\/Bravo via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Bravo has not yet officially announced casting plans for Season 16 \u2014 though per Us Weekly, fan site @BravoandCocktails reported last week that original cast members Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/video\/luann-de-lesseps-tells-page-six-radio-secrets-from-the-set-of-rhony-gives-her-opinion-on-rhonj\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Luann de Lesseps <\/a>would team up with reboot stars Erin Lichy, Sai De Silva and Jessel Taank for an upcoming season.<\/p>\n<p>Two new cast members would also be added, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Season 15 \u2014 which starred Taank, Lichy, and De Silva along with Racquel Chevremont,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/video\/rebecca-minkoff-said-shes-excited-about-potential-rhony-return-days-before-announcing-departure\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rebecca Minkoff,<\/a>\u00a0Ubah Hassan,\u00a0Brynn Whitfield\u00a0and Jenna Lyons \u2014 wrapped up in February. <\/p>\n<p>Bravo has not yet officially announced casting plans for Season 16 . Bravo via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DRDWPzpkude\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=2fb034db-39ee-4b2e-b105-c93316b89f27\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">footage from BravoCon<\/a>, an audience member lamented the loss of the original \u201cReal Housewives of New York\u201d cast and expressed frustration with the newer seasons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe original New York had 13 incredible seasons,\u201d Cohen responded. \u201cHalf of them have moved to Florida. We\u2019ll always be in business with these guys.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cWatch What Happens Live\u201d host added, \u201cWe always want to work with them.
