BEND, Ore. – (KTVZ) — A La Pine woman tied to the La Pine Middle School Volleyball Program was arrested and accused of sexual abuse.<\/p>\n
Sierra Stigall was arrested and is facing several charges, including sexual assault, rape, and luring a minor.<\/p>\n
According to the Deschutes County Sheriff\u2019s Office, the 22-year-old was being investigated following allegations that were brought to their attention earlier this year.<\/p>\n
KTVZ News has learned Stigall was a former employee of the Bend-La Pine School District, where she was an assistant volleyball coach at La Pine Middle School.<\/p>\n
The Sheriff\u2019s Office told KTVZ News, “The current charges involve a minor but are not related to any of the coaching Stigall was involved in.”<\/p>\n
We have reached out to the school district for comment concerning Stigall\u2019s arrest. As of Saturday evening, the district tells us they will provide any information if available.<\/p>\n
