Ahead of a potentially big year,\u00a0The Rolling Stones<\/a> have announced a limited-edition range of lava lamps.<\/p>\n

This week, the legendary band launched a\u00a0collaboration with British brand\u00a0Mathmos, with fans able to buy one of 1000 exclusive red vinyl-designed Astro lava lamps, with a design including artwork from their 1963 single \u2018I Wanna Be Your Man\u2019, a cap with etched grooves reminiscent of vinyl records and the band\u2019s iconic\u00a0\u2018lick\u2019 logo.<\/p>\n

The product was made available on\u00a0Thursday\u00a0(November 13)\u00a0and fans can\u00a0purchase\u00a0the lamps\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0for \u00a3170.<\/p>\n

Cressida Granger, managing director of Mathmos, has said: \u201cThis collaboration represents the perfect fusion of two British icons that emerged in the same revolutionary era. Both Mathmos and The Rolling Stones have spent over 60 years pushing creative boundaries and bringing joy to people\u2019s lives. Creating this limited-edition piece celebrates our shared DNA of innovation, heritage, and the unmistakable British spirit of rebellion.\u201d<\/p>\n

It comes at a time\u00a0when rumours are flying that the band are\u00a0possibly readying\u00a0a new album and a European tour.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week,\u00a0the band\u2019s touring manager and touring keyboardist\u00a0Chuck Leavell teased that a 2026 tour could be in the works<\/a>, suggesting that\u00a0the dates would\u00a0likely be\u00a0in Europe as \u201cwe\u2019ve done a good bit in the US the last few years\u201d.<\/p>\n

In September,\u00a0Ronnie Wood revealed that the band had also finished recording their new album<\/a>\u00a0and suggested that it was set for a 2026 release.\u00a0Andrew Watt has also confirmed that he has been working with the band on the record<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes\u00a0you will be getting a new album next year. It is done,\u201d\u00a0Wood\u00a0told\u00a0The Sun.<\/p>\n

He also confirmed that they have plans to tour the record. \u201cYes\u00a0we are hoping to\u00a0do\u00a0some dates,\u201d he added. \u201cHopefully\u00a0we will be back out\u00a0there\u00a0but I am still waiting to find out myself.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The last Stones album was 2023\u2019s \u2018Hackney Diamonds<\/a>\u2019, their 24th\u00a0studio record in total and their first in 18 years. It featured the final recordings of their late drummer\u00a0Charlie Watts <\/a>and included guest appearances from\u00a0Lady Gaga<\/a>,\u00a0Elton John<\/a>,\u00a0Paul McCartney <\/a>and Stevie Wonder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a four-star review of \u2018Hackney Diamonds\u2019<\/a>,\u00a0NME described it as an \u201cabsolute barnstormer\u201d, and added: \u201cBut if \u2018Hackney Diamonds\u2019 does round off the most successful career in rock music ever, it wouldn\u2019t be a bad place to leave it.
