“So we have a baby otter. So let’s bottle-feed him together,” TikTok user @kenyadeje says into the camera at the beginning of a 75-second-long TikTok video featuring the cutest baby otter<\/a>. And we’re off! We’ve never seen an otter get fed from a bottle before, so when we came across this TikTok video with an opening caption that reads, “Let’s bottle feed our baby otter,” we were intrigued.<\/p>\n

The video starts with a woman showing the baby otter<\/a> that isn’t much bigger than the size of her hand. And she starts warming the bottle while holding the baby otter up next to the camera. “We’re gonna let the milk warm up in the water,” the woman says, and the otter gives an adorable squeal. “Oh my goodness. Look how cute he is,” the woman continues as she holds up the baby otter next to the camera as it continues to make some crazy sounds. “Say hi! Say hello!” she continues as the otter responds, sounding like it is actually greeting us.<\/p>\n

Baby Otter Feeds From Baby Bottle<\/p>\n

“This is a small-clawed Asian otter,” the woman says later on the video. “And they’re very loud. And they smell not so nice.” They are definitely loud, as the otter continues to squeal and squeak while the woman is talking. “But he’s cute. He was actually born on my birthday.” The otter is just over a month old, the woman confirms next.<\/p>\n

Then another woman enters the frame with what appears to be a wet paper towel and wipes down the otter’s back. “You have to wet them,” the first woman says as the otter begins making different sounds. “Do you hear him growling?” she says. And the video concludes with the baby otter eating from the bottle. It’s officially the first time the otter is quiet in the 75-second video.<\/p>\n

“Ma’am, you keep talking over him. He obviously has something to tell us,” TikTok user @lolo comments on the video. “Just give it to me, and we don’t have to make this a big deal, OK,” TikTok user @meena also commented. “So how does one acquire a baby otter?” TikTok user @GermanyFlowers asks. Good question! “You need permits,” @kenyadeje responds.<\/p>\n
