The expanded and renovated galleries will feature a complete reinstallation of the museum\u2019s collection, which will highlight nearly 300 new acquisitions that are rarely seen or have never been on display.<\/p>\n
The space is meant to expand and connect what already stands as a hub for people to gather, reflect, and connect downtown.<\/p>\n
\u201cArt is something that is so meaningful for us in these times of challenge, and our city, I hope embraces the new building as a sign of our rejuvenation and reopening of Portland’s downtown,\u201d said Krajewski.<\/p>\n
