The photos show Link and Zelda standing in a lush green field, Zelda with her signature bow and arrow and both actors sporting costumes complete with Hylian ears.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cKingdom of the Planet of the Apes\u201d and \u201cThe Maze Runner\u201d helmer Wes Ball directs the live-action \u201cLegend of Zelda,\u201d which hits theaters on May 7, 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tNintendo\u2019s Shigeru Miyamoto, who is producing the film, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/film\/global\/legend-of-zelda-movie-cast-bo-bragason-benjamin-evan-ainsworth-1236462236\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">revealed the casting<\/a> of Link and Zelda over the summer, writing in a social media post: \u201cI am pleased to announce that for the live-action film of \u2018The Legend of Zelda,\u2019 Zelda will be played by Bo Bragason-san, and Link by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-san.
