In April, WFPD detectives noticed evidence that a fraudulent insurance scheme seemed to link back to a female suspect acting as a middleman. They made the discovery while working on several unrelated cases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">WFPD turned the case over to the City Marshal\u2019s Office, which then reviewed thousands of financial documents and eventually allegedly linked Gray to the fraudulent document creation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThis case highlights the power of inter-agency cooperation in achieving justice,\u201d City Marshal Stan Horton said. \u201cInsurance safeguards vehicles and protects individuals in the event of injury or property damage. Falsifying these records undermines accountability, erodes trust, and jeopardizes the protections we all rely on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The investigation is ongoing and additional charges and suspects may be revealed at a later date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 KAUZ.
