Recently, the firm <a href=\"https:\/\/archinect.com\/news\/article\/150480594\/inside-kpf-s-renovated-manhattan-studio-after-1920s-office-overhaul\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">offered an inside look<\/a> at its newly renovated New York City studio, which saw an overhaul of a 1920s office space. Elsewhere, <a href=\"https:\/\/archinect.com\/news\/article\/150481239\/kpf-and-heatherwick-break-ground-on-singapore-s-changi-airport-terminal-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">it was revealed earlier this year<\/a> that the firm\u2019s Changi Airport Terminal 5, designed in collaboration with Heatherwick Studio, had broken ground.<\/p>\n<p>Over on Archinect Jobs, the firm is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archinect.com\/kohnpedersenfox\/jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">currently hiring<\/a>\u00a0for several roles to join their New York City team. The project extends the landscape of the adjacent Hongqiao Central Park, integrating pathways and green areas into the site. The tower\u2019s zig-zag, Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i-inspired profile is formed by four stacked volumes on each face, using shifted grids to reduce solar gain and glare. The facade combines high-performance glass with white aluminum mullions, while brick and terra cotta at the base reinforce the neighborhood scale. The building houses office space, an auditorium, tenant amenities, the Doosan History Museum, and a rooftop cafe. The scheme\u2019s stacked masses create a portal visible from both the expressway and the city approach. The tower emphasizes transparency and environmental performance, integrating advanced technologies to reduce energy use. The scheme\u2019s northern elevation exposes the internal atria, while glazed lift cars animate the external core. The building maximizes allowable floor area while offering flexible, efficient layouts suited to a range of tenants. Features include generous floor-to-ceiling heights, high-performance glazing, and advanced building systems consistent with international office standards.
