Orlando Magic<\/a> center Wendell Carter Jr<\/a>. had a massive dunk against the Portland Trail Blazers’ Deni Avdija on Nov. 10. His highlight received all sorts of reactions from his fans and other athletes. One athlete who reacted to it on social media drew attention.<\/p>\n WNBA<\/a> star Angel Reese<\/a> posted the highlight clip on her Instagram. She also hinted that she would be in attendance at the Kia Center during the contest. Her social media update reignited dating rumors about the two of them.<\/p>\n \u2022 <\/p>\n On Monday’s episode of FanDuel TV’s “Run It Back,” Carter appeared as a guest. During his interview, former NBA player Chandler Parsons asked what his relationship with the Chicago Sky forward.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s the homie, for sure,\u201d Carter said. \u201cWe\u2019re locked in. Y\u2019all go find out when y\u2019all need to find out. Let\u2019s just leave it at that. <\/p>\n After calling Reese “homie,” Carter immediately fixed his mistake.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s my girl, though. We locked in, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n The two athletes haven’t confirmed if they are dating. However, they have dropped several hints that have led many to believe that they are together. Back in May, an Instagram user with the handle @madisondenise posted a story update<\/a>. It was about Reese’s 23rd birthday party.<\/p>\n Right next to Reese was Wendell Carter Jr.<\/p>\n Wendell Carter Jr. claimed that he and Angel Reese can beat Bam Adebayo and A’ja Wilson<\/p>\n Fans have invested in which NBA-WNBA couple would dominate on the court. Bam Adebayo and A’ja Wilson are another couple who many believe would be a great duo. However, Wendell Carter Jr. believes that he and Angel Reese has what it takes to beat the couple in a hypothetical 2-on-2 match.<\/p>\n \u201cI definitely feel like I\u2019m one of the most versatile bigs in the league. You look at a guy like Bam, who\u2019s the ideal type for everyone. I think he\u2019s the most versatile big in the league. I\u2019m right up there with him. I feel like I can do pretty much anything that\u2019s needed,\u201d Carter said during the Magic’s Media Day for the 2025-26 season<\/a>. <\/p>\n Carter said his duo with Reese will be defensively versatile. He also boasted about how they can pass the rock well and make open shots. According to the Magic big man, he ranks him and the WNBA up due to their versatility.<\/p>\n \u201cIn terms of the 2-on-2, definitely 11-0, Wardell and Angel for sure. Shoutout Bam and A\u2019ja though.\u201d<\/p>\n It will be an interesting matchup. Adebayo is one of the best defensive bigs and has been named to three All-Star games.
