{"id":299102,"date":"2025-11-18T12:53:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T12:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/299102\/"},"modified":"2025-11-18T12:53:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T12:53:07","slug":"the-sports-report-dodgers-face-a-long-road-to-a-threepeat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/299102\/","title":{"rendered":"The Sports Report: Dodgers face a long road to a threepeat"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/sports\/dodgers\/story\/2025-11-17\/dodgers-endurance-test-2026-world-baseball-classic\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">From Jack Harris<\/a>: Just weeks into the offseason, the <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/sports\/dodgers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dodgers<\/a> are already thinking 11 months ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Having just finished yet another <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/sports\/dodgers\/story\/2025-11-01\/dodgers-world-series-2025-path-blue-jays\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">grueling October campaign<\/a>, they are bracing for the long road required to get back.<\/p>\n<p>The team\u2019s central focus right now, of course, is on bolstering its roster and supplementing its star-studded core coming out of last week\u2019s annual <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/sports\/dodgers\/story\/2025-11-13\/dodgers-trade-market-mlb-offseason-free-agency\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MLB general managers\u2019 meetings<\/a> in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>But as they go for a World Series three-peat in 2026, one of their primary challenges will be managing the returning talent \u2014 and ensuring the burdensome toll from their previous two title treks doesn\u2019t become a roadblock in their pursuit of another ring.<\/p>\n<p>Taking such a long view has become an annual practice for the Dodgers. Their collection of star talent and organizational depth means they are almost always in position to make the playoffs.
