Pay-TV heavyweight BeIN Sports will continue to showcase North American basketball\u2019s NBA across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) after extending its broadcast partnership with the elite competition.<\/p>\n

The renewal builds on the pair\u2019s long-standing partnership, which started in 2008, and will see BeIN continue to air up to nine regular-season games per week, the playoffs, conference finals, and finals.<\/p>\n

The broadcaster will air games in Arabic, English, and French, across its linear BeIN Sports channels and OTT platform.<\/p>\n

The last renewal between the pair was struck ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season and included exclusive rights to more than 400 live NBA games.<\/p>\n

BeIN MENA chief executive Mohammad Al Subaie has now said: \u201cOur broadcast partnership with the NBA is one of the longest and most valued in our portfolio, and we are proud to continue bringing the best of basketball to audiences across the MENA region.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis renewal reinforces our position as the global home of sports\u00a0and reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering world-class, multilingual, and multi-platform coverage to viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n

The renewal consolidates BeIN\u2019s extensive basketball portfolio, which includes NBA rights in France \u2013\u00a0also to air up to nine regular-season games per week, including tentpole events such as the league\u2019s Christmas Day games and All-Star game, as well as select playoff fixtures, the finals of each conference, and the season-ending NBA finals.<\/p>\n

BeIN has held the rights to the NBA in France\u00a0since 2012, and the league has a significant interest in the country, thanks in no small part to the growing number of French players competing, illustrated by the league\u2019s annual efforts to stage international games in the country.<\/p>\n

Overall, BeIN is the official broadcaster of the NBA in 23 countries.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, meanwhile, BeIN France secured a four-deal deal with global basketball body FIBA to cover all major tournaments, including the 2026 women\u2019s and 2027 men\u2019s editions of the FIBA World Cups, qualifiers for those tournaments, and the regional men\u2019s and women\u2019s EuroBasket (2029).<\/p>\n

That deal came off the back of BeIN, also showcasing much of FIBA\u2019s EuroBasket men’s\u00a0national team basketball tournament in August and September.<\/p>\n

The NBA 2025-26 regular season began on October 21 and will end on April 12, 2026, with the playoffs running between April and May.<\/p>\n
