Savannah Guthrie<\/a> shared a sweet commercial break moment with one of Hollywood\u2019s biggest stars on Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before sitting down with Jonathan Bailey<\/a> and Jeff Goldblum<\/a> on the Wednesday, November 19, episode of Today, Guthrie received an impromptu music lesson from the latter. \u201cA little piano session with Savannah and Jeff Goldblum this morning<\/p>\n

,\u201d Today\u2018s official Instagram<\/a> page captioned the sweet behind-the-scenes clip.<\/p>\n

In the video, Goldblum instructed Guthrie as she played while sitting next to him at a keyboard. Craig Melvin<\/a> looked both surprised and happy upon walking in on the moment in Studio 1A. Goldblum continued to sing along as he and Guthrie played a tune together.<\/p>\n

Guthrie shared more footage of her and Goldblum\u2019s jam session via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, which Goldblum reposted to his Instagram Story. \u201cBy far the best piano teacher I\u2019ve ever had \u2013 @jeffgoldblum,\u201d she captioned the post.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday\u2019s episode of Today, Guthrie reflected on her piano experience while praising Goldblum\u2019s skills as a jazz pianist. \u201cI\u2019m trying to re-learn my piano. I quit at 14. You\u2019re inspiring me,\u201d she shared, noting that she previously played for around years.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re very good,\u201d Goldblum complimented before walking over to the keyboard to play a song before the commercial break. \u201cWe\u2019ll buy a ticket to go see Wicked on Friday,\u201d he sang. \u201cBut first, we\u2019ll visit you, Savannah, today.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guthrie and Bailey were all smiles as they joined Goldblum piano. Bailey wrapped up the segment by giving Goldblum a hug, while Guthrie shook the actor\u2019s hand. Al Roker<\/a> even shared kind words about Goldblum, stating, \u201cIf you want a great evening, Jeff Goldblum and The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. It is a thing to behold,\u201d the weatherman gushed. \u201cI\u2019ve seen him three times at the Caf\u00e9 Carlyle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goldblum and Bailey appeared on Today to promote their new movie, Wicked: For Good<\/a>. The film\u2019s release comes shortly after Bailey was named People\u2019s 2025 Sexiest Man Alive. To not let Goldblum feel left out, Guthrie awarded him with the title of Today\u2018s Sexiest Man Alive. \u201cBetween 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., long may you reign on the Today show hours,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n

In reaction, Goldblum quipped, \u201cThis is too humbling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goldblum and Bailey\u2019s Today interview also marked the end of their Wicked: For Good press tour events together. \u201cIt\u2019s coming to a grand conclusion today,\u201d Bailey remarked, to which Goldblum added, \u201cThis is the swan song, right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
