Wallen, 32, missed the show for the second straight year even after being nominated for Entertainer of the Year, which he won in 2024.<\/p>\n
Ernest, a frequent collaborator of Wallen\u2019s, was asked by Taste of Country <\/a>as Ernest his choice for Entertainer of the year, and he picked Lainey Wilson.<\/p>\n As it turns out, he was right.<\/p>\n However, Ernest\u2019s reason for picking Wilson over Wallen was interesting.<\/p>\n \u201cHe don\u2019t give a f–k,\u201d Ernest said. \u201cSince when has Morgan given a s—? Who\u2019s making more money doing this than Morgan Wallen? He don\u2019t give a f–k about this award.
