Swedish power metal band Bloodbound are back with their latest release. With all their albums focusing on different eras of military history, this new one heads into the Middle Ages. Here\u2019s their explanation: \u201cAs warfare evolves and the technological advancement of forging iron with carbon leads to superior swordsmen, the bloodstained battlefields show new, grim faces, which Bloodbound bring to life with their vivid storytelling.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Lost Within The Astral Crypts (Tankcrimes)<\/p>\n
This blackened death\/thrash metal supergroup never disappoints, so if you enjoyed their previous releases, you\u2019re going to like this one. For those that don\u2019t know, this band is driven by the second wave of Scandinavian black metal and melodic death metal scenes of the \u201890s, which should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect. Play this one loud and often.<\/p>\n
