Filip Jorgensen is among four players who need to leave Chelsea in the January transfer window to get their careers back on track.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, Fabrizio Romano<\/a> revealed Jorgensen is \u2018considering a potential January exit\u2019 to pick up more game time in the second half of the campaign. The goalkeeper is \u2018open to a new chapter\u2019 as he has been told by Denmark bosses he needs to play regularly to keep his spot in the national team.<\/p>\n Following their 4-2 defeat to Scotland, Denmark have been drawn against North Macedonia in the World Cup qualifying play-offs.<\/p>\n Filip Jorgensen\u2019s Chelsea career so far<\/p>\n Joined from Villarreal for \u00a320.7m in July 2024 Ahead of Chelsea\u2019s trip to Burnley on Saturday, Enzo Maresca was asked about Jorgensen\u2019s situation. But the move collapsed, leaving George stranded.<\/p>\n The winger has scored three times in nine appearances so far this term, filling in at centre-forward when needed.<\/p>\n But he is open to an exit so he can become a guaranteed starter elsewhere.<\/p>\n As per the Daily Mail, George has a \u2018long list\u2019 of suitors heading into the winter window. Fulham remain keen, but they could face competition from the likes of Crystal Palace, Roma and RB Leipzig.<\/p>\n The 19-year-old was previously offered to Manchester United<\/a>, but Ruben Amorim\u2019s side did not take up that opportunity.<\/p>\n Sterling, Disasi not even in first-team squad<\/p>\n Then there is Raheem Sterling<\/a> and Axel Disasi, two players who have been dropped down to the reserves as they are not in Maresca\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n The Italian coach said on Friday<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cI said many times that Axel and Raheem are Chelsea players.<\/p>\n \u201cAxel is helping the second team, he\u2019s helping the younger players. During the international break we had just five, six players here, so we needed some second team players. And Axel was part of some session with second team players, but I think it was just one session with us.\u201d<\/p>\n Chelsea failed to offload the pair in the summer, which has proven costly. Disasi<\/a> joined the club for \u00a338.5m, while Sterling cost \u00a347.5m and is on a huge \u00a3325,000 a week.<\/p>\n Sterling was targeted by Saudi and Turkish clubs in the summer, but he prioritised staying in London to be closer to his family.<\/p>\n The winger was hopeful of joining Fulham, though no such move materialised.<\/p>\n Disasi also snubbed interest from the Saudis, as he hoped to return to Monaco.
