Along with being public figures, the new couple, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau<\/a>, are both parents. As many know, Perry is a proud mom to her daughter Daisy, and Justin is a dad to two children: Xavier, born in 2007, and Ella-Grace, born in 2009. And now, it seems Perry is helping out Trudeau\u2019s son!<\/p>\n

Perry is allegedly using her lessons as a judge on American Idol<\/a> to help her boyfriend\u2019s son, Xavier, also known as Xav, with his music career, especially after he released a highly criticized rap video this month.<\/p>\n

Another insider said, \u201c[Perry] connected him with producers and told him to keep working. She wants him to take the criticism seriously, but not personally.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another insider said, \u201cShe\u2019s there as support, not a manager. She listens to his demos, but she also tells him when something doesn\u2019t work\u2026 He feels safer with her in his corner.\u201d<\/p>\n

For those who don\u2019t know, earlier this year, Perry and her ex-fianc\u00e9, Orlando Bloom, called their engagement off after nearly a decade together. Soon after, Perry and Trudeau started reportedly dating after a July 28 date night in Montreal, and Trudeau attended Perry\u2019s Lifetimes <\/a>Tour in Montreal on July 29. Then, on October 11, the Daily Mail<\/a> obtained photos of Trudeau and Perry kissing<\/a> aboard Perry\u2019s 24-meter yacht in Santa Barbara, California.\u00a0Weeks after that, in late Oct 2025, they made their first official outing as a couple at Perry\u2019s birthday party in Paris!<\/p>\n
