She has an arm outstretched and is looking to the side of the frame.\" class=\"sc-5340b511-0 hLdNfA\"\/>Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The free exhibition consists of 26 artworks by British painter Bridget Riley<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">An exhibition of work by British artist Bridget Riley has opened at Kent&#8217;s Turner Contemporary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">The show includes the influential 94-year-old painter&#8217;s works from the late 1960s, wall paintings from the last decade and the artist&#8217;s most recent canvases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Senior curator Melissa Blanchflower says the Margate gallery is &#8220;inviting the public to come and have this visual experience&#8221; and nothing replaces &#8220;being in front of the painting&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">The free exhibition of 26 artworks, titled Learning to See, will run at the gallery until 4 May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">&#8220;The whole experience of bringing these constellations together adds something new,&#8221; the curator said.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1762860728_325_grey-placeholder.png\" class=\"sc-5340b511-0 gUePlo hide-when-no-script\" aria-label=\"image unavailable\"\/><img decoding=\"async\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/25b3e970-c7ae-11f0-83e1-2f64c544cba6.jpg.webp.webp\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Turner Contemporary A gallery room with white walls and a row of windows near the roof.
