Corey Feldman said ABC\u2019s hit dance competition series \u201cDancing With the Stars\u201d was \u201ctoxic\u201d when the cameras went down.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a lot of stupidity in the mudslinging that went on behind the scenes,\u201d Feldman said in a preview of his conversation with the Alan Gurvey on his weekly radio show \u201cGurvey\u2019s Law,\u201d<\/a> which was obtained by Daily Mail<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cActually there, everything was great,\u201d Feldman explained of this time dancing on program. \u201cOn the set everybody gets along.\u201d <\/p>\n

However, Feldman, who teamed up with professional dancer Jenna Johnson and was eliminated in week two of the competition, noted that it was a different experience behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

Representatives for the show did not immediately respond to TheWrap\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe behind-the-scenes drama and BS that people throw around that show, I\u2019ve never seen anything like it. It\u2019s the worst, like, most toxic,\u201d Feldman said, adding that he\u2019d start to read reports in the media about people\u2019s alleged poor experiences on the show. At one point, Feldman was the topic at hand after Johnson\u2019s brother-in-law, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, shared in September that Johnson had a \u201creally difficult\u201d time with the \u201cGoonies\u201d star.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou start reading these things in the paper, like, \u2018This person\u2019s mad at this person,\u2019\u201d Feldman explained. \u201cThese people aren\u2019t talking to each other.\u2019 Or, \u2018Are people working hard enough?\u2019 \u2018Corey Feldman destroyed the show. He destroyed the whole show because he was such an egomaniac it\u2019s so difficult to work with.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

When he asked Johnson about Chmerkovskiy\u2019s comments, Feldman said she brushed them off as Chmerkovskiy just wanting \u201cattention.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Chmerkovskiy\u2019s interview, on Sept. 24, Johnson penned a heartfelt message to Feldman, saying she was \u201cgrateful for the incredible weeks\u201d they shared, despite their time together being cut short. <\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for the giggles everyday in rehearsal, thank you for the hard work, and thank you for sharing your life lessons and memories with me! I\u2019ll cherish our friendship forever. Never stop dancing,\u201d Johnson wrote in an Instagram post with a lineup of photos of the two over the course of their journey in the competition. <\/p>\n

Underneath her post, Feldman apologized for the false narrative about their relationship he feels the media is spinning.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank U Jenna! U were an absolute joy to work with. Im so sorry for any negativity the media is using to give the false narrative that our time together was anything less than enjoyable,\u201d Feldman wrote at the time. \u201cAnd U know as well as i do that i was there 7 days a week for the past 3 weeks, doing everything in my power to give U my best, even if the judges couldnt see it. God Bless your family. Keep dancing the dream.\u201d<\/p>\n
