\n\tAfter cutting his tour short last year due to health<\/a> struggles, Donald Glover<\/a> returned to the Camp Flog Gnaw<\/a> stage this weekend with an update.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Saturday, the artist formerly known as Childish Gambino<\/a> revealed that he suffered a stroke before postponing his The New World Tour<\/a> last September, noting at the time that he planned to \u201cfocus on my physical health for a few weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was doing this world tour. I was having lots of fun, really loving seeing you guys out there,\u201d he explained to the crowd during the concert, which live-streamed on Amazon Music<\/a>. \u201cAnd I had a really bad pain in my head in Louisiana, and I did the show anyway. I couldn\u2019t really see well, so when we went to Houston, I went to the hospital and the doctor was like, \u2018You had a stroke.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGlover continued, \u201cAnd The first thing I thought was like, \u2018Oh, here I am still copying Jamie Foxx.\u2019 That\u2019s really like the second thing. The first thing was like, \u2018I\u2019m letting everybody down.\u2019 I know it\u2019s not true.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA month after postponing the tour, Glover cancelled the remainder<\/a>, noting that he had to undergo surgery and needed \u201ctime out to heal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019d broken my foot. \u2026 and they found a hole in my heart,\u201d added Glover on Saturday. \u201cSo, I had this surgery, and then I had to have another surgery. They say everybody has two lives, and the second life starts when you realize you have one. You got one life, guys. And I\u2019ve gotta be honest, the life I\u2019ve lived with you guys has been such a blessing. I love seeing and performing for you guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNow that Glover is back in performing shape, he\u2019s set to reprise his role<\/a> as Troy Barnes in the upcoming Community<\/a> movie, in addition to a Lando<\/a> solo outing in the Star Wars<\/a> franchise.<\/p>\n
