The final week of the regular season is upon us, and ESPN College GameDay has announced its destination. The show will be at \u2018The Game,\u2019 heading to Ann Arbor for Ohio State<\/a> at Michigan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In Week 13, College GameDay took its second trip to Eugene this year for the showdown between Oregon<\/a> and USC<\/a>. The matchup had plenty at stake for both teams as they looked to stay alive in the College Football Playoff<\/a> race, adding to the intrigue around an old Pac-12 showdown.<\/p>\n

On the whole, it marked College GameDay\u2019s 14th trip to Eugene, which is tied with LSU<\/a> for the fourth-most in history. It was also USC\u2019s 25th time appearing on College GameDay and the first since 2016.<\/p>\n

Oregon coach Dan Lanning<\/a> joined the show live on-set ahead of the game, and Ducks legend Marcus Mariota<\/a> served as the celebrity guest picker. He rose to stardom in Eugene, winning the Heisman Trophy in 2014 before becoming the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft<\/a>. Mariota is currently with the Washington Commanders, who are on a bye this week.<\/p>\n

Of course, Pat McAfee<\/a> also held his weekly kicking contest, which has been surging in popularity. He had given out more than $5 million of his own money during his time on the show entering Week 13 and made multiple charitable donations, as well.<\/p>\n

Rivalries highlight the Week 14 slate as the regular season comes to an end. From here, some teams will turn their attention toward conference championships or bowl games. Others will be involved in an active coaching carousel as they prepare for the transfer portal<\/a> to open.<\/p>\n

\u2018College GameDay\u2019 drawing huge TV ratings<\/p>\n

For College GameDay, it will mark the final regular season show amid record-setting viewership. The show is closing in on its most-watched year in history.<\/p>\n

Through Week 12, College GameDay viewership was up 24% season-to-date, and the show ahead of Notre Dame<\/a> at Pitt<\/a> also drew big numbers. The program averaged 2.6 million viewers, peaking at 3.6 million.<\/p>\n

That show set the stage for a monster week for ESPN and ABC. The networks had the top four games on the Week 12 slate<\/a>, led by the 3:30 p.m. ET game between Oklahoma<\/a> and Alabama<\/a> (10.5 million) followed by the primetime matchup between Texas<\/a> and Georgia<\/a> (10.4 million).
