Hilary Duff<\/a> is finally speaking out about the subject of her comeback single \u201cMature.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old entertainer dropped the song<\/a> earlier this month and fans were quick to dissect the lyrics to figure out who she was singing about. <\/p>\n

Many have taken parts of the lyrics and come to the conclusion that the track, which will be featured on her upcoming album, is about Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a>! <\/p>\n

\u201cThe song is about reflecting on your past and coming to terms with the choices you\u2019ve made, but without being too hard on yourself,\u201d Hilary previously told Vogue<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt is definitely about a brief experience that I had in my\u2014a long, long time ago [laughs]. But it is not totally autobiographical. I took a few artistic liberties just to make the song work structurally, but the gist is the gist,\u201d she added. \u201cI was looking back on this relationship and thinking about whether this guy had a habit of dating younger women or whether I was \u2018special.\u2019 The whole experience was super therapeutic to write about, but being so vulnerable through your music can be really scary.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, how does this connect to Leo? <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

At the very start of the song, she mentions, \u201cVery Leo of you with your Scorpio touch,\u201d and \u201cBet she\u2019s so impressed by your Basquiat.\u201d <\/p>\n

Leonardo is well known to seemingly only date younger women, and while his nickname is Leo, his horoscope sign is Scorpio. He is also a fan of the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.<\/p>\n

Later in the song, Hilary also mentions leaving her car at Carbon Beach, which is located in Malibu, Calif., where Leo has a house.<\/p>\n

After all the speculation went rampant on social media, Hilary\u2018s husband, Matthew Koma<\/a>, who co-wrote the song, fanned the flames by posting a meme of Leonardo DiCaprio from Titanic holding on to the \u201cMature\u201d artwork. <\/p>\n

This past week, Hilary actually called in to On Air With Ryan Seacrest and was asked about the subject of the song and if it was about Leo!<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, we\u2019re getting the biggest kick out of the speculations,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s honestly, it\u2019s thrilling. It\u2019s 100% thrilling and the internet is such a funny place. I\u2019m obsessed with everyone and I\u2019m seeing all the videos.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cNo, you can\u2019t take anything that Matthew posts seriously. He\u2019s the biggest troll on the planet Earth,\u201d Hilary continued about her hubby\u2019s Leo post. \u201cHe will lead everybody down all the roads and have the most fun doing it.\u201d <\/p>\n

However, she still remained coy about who the song is really about. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo, not confirming, not denying anything here,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n
