{"id":311141,"date":"2025-11-24T16:50:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T16:50:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/311141\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T16:50:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T16:50:08","slug":"vitriol-members-quit-band-leave-co-founder-at-vermont-gas-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/311141\/","title":{"rendered":"Vitriol members quit band, leave co-founder at Vermont gas station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Keith Merrow, the newly announced guitarist for technical death metal band Vitriol, has made a post to his Instagram story explaining that the rest of the band&#8217;s line-up have decided to leave mid-tour, effectively abandoning sole original member Kyle Rasmussen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Merrow alleges that himself, along with Brett Leier (bass), and Andy Vincenzetti (drums), abandoned Rasmussen at a gas station in Vermont due to his &#8220;cowardly and weak outbursts of misplaced anger.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Vitriol have been hit with numerous line-up issues, with Rasmussen being left as the only member for a time.
