She came, she sang, she conquered. <\/p>\n

Kirbi<\/a>, a contemporary Christian singer from Alabama, delivered a glorious performance on Monday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Voice.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Her emotional cover of \u201cHard Fought Hallelujah\u201d was so heartfelt and compelling, she easily defeated teammate Dustin Dale Gaspard<\/a> in the Knockouts round. <\/p>\n

Kirbi, whose offstage name is Savanna Kirby<\/a>, has been impressive throughout Season 28 of the NBC reality series<\/a>, earning kudos <\/a>from the celebrity coaches.<\/p>\n

Her rendition of the Grammy-nominated song<\/a> by Brandon Lake<\/a> and Jelly Roll was such a stunner, however, she gave Niall Horan<\/a> goosebumps. And that was just during rehearsals.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like if I could sum up who I am in a song, this would probably be it,\u201c said Kirbi, 24. \u201dI come from the Shoals area. I grew up singing blues and soul music, so I feel like this kind of has that aspect.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it came time for her to compete against Gaspard, Kirbi elevated her performance<\/a> even more. She kicked her competitor to the curb \u2014 as kindly and gently as possible \u2014 and earned a spot in the Playoffs. <\/p>\n

\u201cKirbi, you got into it. It\u2019s very emotional,\u201d Reba McEntire<\/a> said. \u201cIt was really, really good.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cKirbi, I love the juxtaposition of you singing a song that I\u2019ve heard so many times by great male singers,\u201d said Michael Buble<\/a>. \u201cYou understand who you are, where you want to go, and that you have the guts to take on songs that may not seem like they may be in your lane. I love that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKirbi, that was the perfect song for you,\u201d said Snoop Dogg<\/a>. \u201cThat performance of that record right there, whew.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKirbi, that was your best performance to date, without a shadow of a doubt,\u201d Horan said. \u201cIt\u2019s beautiful to watch, beautiful to listen to. You just smashed it.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was no surprise, then, when Horan chose Kirbi as the winner of the Knockout. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat she did in her performance tonight was just undeniable,\u201d Horan said. \u201cThere was no way she could sing like that, give the emotion that she gave and leave this competition. \u2026 She was unbelievable.” <\/p>\n

Kirbi is one of four contestants remaining on Team Niall and among the top 16 artists this season. Her next step? To ace the Playoffs over the next couple of weeks and secure a spot on the live finale. <\/p>\n

Kirbi will be joined in the Playoffs by Jazz McKenzie<\/a>, a soul singer from Birmingham who now lives in Huntsville. McKenzie, 31, also aced her Knockout round, covering \u201cCruisin\u2019\u201d by Smokey Robinson. She moves on to the Playoffs as a member of Team Buble.<\/p>\n

Playoffs on \u201cThe Voice\u201d are set to air on Dec. 1 and 8, trimming the list of contestants to the final six. Each coach will choose one artist from their team to advance to the finals, and viewers will vote to select two additional \u201cwildcard\u201d artists.<\/p>\n

After that, it\u2019s time for the live finale on Dec. 15-16. <\/p>\n
