Now that he is aware of Geese<\/a>\u2019s music,\u00a0Billy Corgan<\/a> has suggested\u00a0they fight the similarly named band, Goose<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Smashing Pumpkins<\/a> vocalist was the guest on a recent episode of the YouTube series Track Star, where he was asked to identify who sang several different songs. Toward the end of the episode, host Jack Coyne played Geese\u2019s \u201cAu Pays du Cocaine\u201d for him.<\/p>\n

After digesting the music for a while, Corgan took off his headphones to guess what he was listening to. \u201cSounds like a bit of a Springsteen thing going on there,\u201d he said, curiously. After Coyne told him that the song was from a band named Geese, Corgan smiled, confirmed he didn\u2019t mean a band named Goose, and then gave his thoughts on the former.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey should have a fight,\u201d Corgan said. \u201cGoose versus Geese. Winner takes all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Corgan\u2019s seeming approval of Geese\u2019s music came days after Nick Cave gave them a cosign of epic proportions<\/a> when he described how their song \u201cTrinidad\u201d makes him feel.<\/p>\n
