\n\tNed Fulmer<\/a> revealed on Sunday that he\u2019s struggled with multiple sclerosis for the past 12 years. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe internet personality and former member of The Try Guys<\/a> broke the news in a video posted to YouTube on Nov. 23 titled \u201cI Have MS<\/a>.\u201d Fulmer explained that in 2013, after experiencing numbness in his hands, arms and back over several days, he went to the hospital for an MRI. The results revealed lesions in his brain.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe doctor was like, \u2018You probably have MS,\u2019 and I was like, \u2018What is that? Isn\u2019t that really bad?\u201d Fulmer recalled. \u201cI was totally in denial, [I] didn\u2019t want to have MS.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFulmer said he hoped the numbness would fade on its own and left the hospital. However, the symptoms worsened. He recalled a serious scare when he was walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night and collapsed from weakness. He was rushed to the hospital afterward for further testing and care.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe said of the incident, \u201cI remember sitting in that hospital bed and it getting worse and just being so scared and wondering if I was going to be able to walk again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLuckily, after he was given some medication, he was able to move his legs again. Fulmer said the recovery \u201cfelt like a miracle.\u201d Now more than a decade ahead of his diagnosis, Fulmer shared that a recent MRI came back \u201cclean,\u201d but added he still struggles with \u201clow-level sensory issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was keeping it a really big secret for a long time, and I don\u2019t think that was very healthy for me,\u201d Fulmer said. \u201cI\u2019m trying to be more open with it, just in conversation, and I am very grateful to be in remission, and I am very happy to be making this video.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Ned Fulmer revealed on Sunday that he\u2019s struggled with multiple sclerosis for the past 12 years.
