Football is just for fun, but you\u2019re gonna make your money in baseball like your dad and I.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Rodriguez\u2019s logic was based on career longevity, guaranteed contracts, and the physical toll of the sports. In his view, baseball offered a more stable and lucrative financial future compared to the high collision risk of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/international\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/international\">NFL<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Rodriguez recalls that Mahomes listened intently with wide eyes.
