(WOWT) &#8211; A man has been arrested after a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wowt.com\/2025\/07\/22\/one-hospitalized-after-cutting-north-omaha-police-say\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wowt.com\/2025\/07\/22\/one-hospitalized-after-cutting-north-omaha-police-say\/\">cutting involving another man<\/a> in North Omaha on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">49-year-old Eugene Morris was booked into Douglas County Corrections on charges of criminal trespassing and third-degree assault Tuesday, a release states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">OPD tells First Alert 6 that officers responded to the Blue Nile Corner Store near 20th and Ohio streets just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police say a disturbance involving Morris and a 67-year-old man was taking place prior to the officers\u2019 arrival. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the release, Morris was escorted out of the convenience store after being asked to leave. He later re-entered the store.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The 67-year-old man was hit by a metal can before the cutting happened, OPD says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Both men were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
