{"id":315855,"date":"2025-11-27T01:31:06","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T01:31:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/315855\/"},"modified":"2025-11-27T01:31:06","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T01:31:06","slug":"medicine-recall-41000-of-nasal-spray-sold-nationwide-at-walgreens-over-potential-contamination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/315855\/","title":{"rendered":"Medicine recall: 41,000 of nasal spray sold nationwide at Walgreens over potential contamination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"ESUVQIZ65NEYDEPPEIKB5SJ6DA\">More than 40,000 bottles of nasal spray sold nationwide have been recalled over contamination concerns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"7IYEC3H3NJG67CSKIU4ZHVK54U\">Walgreens Saline Nasal Spray with Xylitol in 1.5 ounce bottles could be contaminated with Pseudomonas lactis, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/scripts\/ires\/?Product=217306\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/scripts\/ires\/?Product=217306\">according to the Food and Drug Administration.<\/a> Customers who purchased the products should stop using it immediately and return it to Walgreens.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"LXYP6AYPVZHLXJKUSNE7GLMJ6E\">NDC number for recall is 0363-3114-01 with the following numbers:<\/p>\n<p>Lot No. 71409, expires February 28, 2027Lot No. 71861, expires August 31, 2027 <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"OZOZBEOQVVF53AX5WQVC5PCKME\">Pseudomonas lactis bacteria can cause a variety of health issues and can be particularly dangerous for those with weakened immune systems or respiratory problems. Symptoms include fever, chills, fatigue, headache, muscle ache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and confusion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"FRVL5H2L3VCW7HPCUBVVJTD56M\">The FDA has classified the recall as a Level II, meaning the product could cause temporary or reversible health problems but the risk of serious harm is remote.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"More than 40,000 bottles of nasal spray sold nationwide have been recalled over contamination concerns.
