ESPN analyst Joey Galloway has made it clear he wants the network to stop showing Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia’s mom in the stands during games.<\/p>\n

Pavia’s mom, Antoinette Padilla, has gone viral in recent months with her wild antics in the stands while watching her son play.<\/p>\n

Pavia even promised comedian Theo Vonn a date with his mom if they beat South Carolina, which they did 31-7.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But the frequency with which she is appearing on screen has frustrated Galloway, who begged his ESPN colleague Kirk Herbstreit to ask production staff to stop broadcasting her.<\/p>\n

He said: ‘Is there a camera on Pavia’s mother the entire game? I’m just wondering.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Just a question. Not saying it gets on my nerves. Just asking a question.<\/p>\n

During last week’s game between Vanderbilt and Kentucky, the camera constantly cut to Padilla in the stands.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One particular clip of Padilla, with Vanderbilt winning the game 45-17, showed her dancing and celebrating.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After his standout win against Alabama last year, Pavia explained that Padilla, who raised him as a single mom, always had a ‘winning mentality.’<\/p>\n

‘She raised me a winner,’ Pavia said of his mom at the time, according to VandySports.<\/p>\n

‘My mom, she hates losing more than she loves winning.’ He added that she came\u00a0to ’98 per cent’ of his football games.<\/p>\n
