Kate Winslet Always Stays With Leonardo DiCaprio In LA<\/p>\n
They then reunited onscreen for the 2008 movie Revolutionary Road:<\/p>\n
And while it may have been almost three decades since the pair first met, they remain as close as ever \u2014 with Leo even walking Kate down the aisle at her wedding to Edward Abel Smith, aka Ned Rocknroll, in 2012.<\/p>\n
For reference, Adam and Kate worked together on the 2015 film Steve Jobs, and Adam told host Becky that they reunited at the 2016 SAG Awards in Los Angeles, where British Kate suggested they and their partners get dinner together after the ceremony.<\/p>\n

It’s our town, we\u2019ll take you out to dinner, Kate,\u2019\u201d Adam recalled. \u201cAnd she\u2019s like: \u2018Um, well, why don\u2019t we just eat where I\u2019m staying because it\u2019s so much easier?\u2019 I\u2019m like: \u2018Oh, because you\u2019re, like, super famous\u2026 What hotel are you at?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

I always stay with Leo when I’m in town,\u2019\u201d he then revealed, going on to recount his shock at being invited to Hollywood icon Leonardo DiCaprio\u2019s home. \u201cI\u2019m like: \u2018We\u2019re going to Leo\u2019s house right now?\u2019 She\u2019s like: \u2018Yeah, he\u2019ll order food and we\u2019ll\u2026\u2019 he\u2019d just won Best Actor for The Revenant! Just minutes ago!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, I\u2019m like: \u2018Hey, I didn\u2019t know we were going to Leonardo DiCaprio\u2019s house, can we stop at the liquor store on Sunset and, like, bring something?\u2019 She\u2019s like: \u2018Of course!\u2019\u201d Adam went on. \u201cSo, two of us jump out of her car, she\u2019s barefoot in the most beautiful gown ever, dripping in these diamonds from the award show, I\u2019m in my tux. We walk in, get a nice bottle of scotch, and also, I\u2019m starving because we didn\u2019t eat anything, so I get a bag of cheddar Goldfish.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m the last person out of the car when we pull up to Leo\u2019s, he\u2019s standing on the front stoop being like: \u2018Ahhh, you guys are here!\u2019\u201d he continued. \u201cI hand Kate the bottle of scotch, and she gives the bottle of scotch to Leo. I get out, I\u2019m the last one there, and I just have this bag of Goldfish.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I don\u2019t want to be like: \u2018Oh, that scotch was from me,\u2019\u201d Adam laughed, before sharing Leo\u2019s genuinely grateful reaction to being gifted a bag of Goldfish. \u201cSo, I just gave him the Goldfish, and I just said: \u2018They\u2019re cheddar!\u2019 And he\u2019s like: ‘Thank you! Thank you! Thanks, man!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

And the fact that Kate stays with Leo every time she is in LA \u2014 and is comfortable enough there to invite other people back for dinner \u2014 is perhaps unsurprising considering how much they gush over one another in interviews, seek each other out on red carpets and at award ceremonies, and have been each other\u2019s biggest cheerleader over the years.<\/p>\n
Previously, a video montage of their friendship went viral on social media<\/a>, which included the time that Leo blew a kiss to Kate from the audience as she accepted her 2009 Golden Globe, with Kate saying in her speech at the time: \u201cLeo, I’m so happy I can stand here and tell you how much I love you, and how much I’ve loved you for 13 years. I love you with all my heart, I really do.\u201d<\/p>\n And in 2016, Kate burst with pride as Leo dominated the awards circuit ahead of winning his first-ever Oscar for his performance in The Revenant. In one clip from this time, she excitedly admits: \u201cI\u2019ve been so focused on Leo and him winning everything!\u201d<\/p>\n But despite how much some fans may wish for the two to get together romantically, Kate has repeatedly insisted that there has never been any attraction between them. In fact, as early into their friendship as 1998, Kate laughed off claims that they were an item in an interview with Rolling Stone<\/a> \u2014 saying that a romance would be \u201cabsolutely like incest.\u201d<\/p>\n She reiterated this in 2014, telling Marie Claire<\/a>: \u201cI think the reason that friendship works is because there was never any romantic thing.
