Tesla India on Thursday announced the opening of India\u2019s first all-in-one integrated Tesla centre in Gurugram, marking a major step in the company\u2019s plan to expand electric mobility in the country.<\/p>\n
The facility at the upscale Orchid Business Park in Sector 48 is the biggest in the country as it combines retail, after-sales service, delivery and charging facilities under one roof.<\/p>\n
\u201cTesla\u2019s mission is to accelerate the world\u2019s transition to sustainable energy. By building charging infrastructure that fits people\u2019s daily lives, we are making electric driving convenient for everyone in India. The network will expand rapidly for a seamless EV experience,\u201d said Sharad Agarwal, general manager, Tesla India.<\/p>\n
The facility was inaugurated by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who said Tesla choosing Gurugram established the state not merely as another market but a major hub for the automobile, IT and other industries.<\/p>\n
Saini said he was optimistic that after the centre, Tesla would also establish its first electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant of the country in Haryana.<\/p>\n
The centre is designed to support rising interest in EVs across northern India. Visitors will be able to explore Tesla\u2019s technology, take test drives of the Model Y, access V4 supercharging and obtain after-sales assistance in one connected space.<\/p>\n
Optimus Gen 2, Tesla\u2019s advanced humanoid robot prototype, will also be on display in Gurugram, alongside installations in Mumbai and Delhi. Once operational, Tesla will have four charging stations in India equipped with 16 superchargers and 10 destination chargers.<\/p>\n
The Model Y, which was the world\u2019s best-selling vehicle in 2023 and 2024, carries five-star ratings from multiple global safety bodies. Pricing starts at Rs 59,89,000, with home charging support included for buyers.
